A support service for survivors and their families whose lives have been affected by sexual abuse. The aim of MOSAIC II is to relieve the mental and physical distress and suffering of families in Bradford and Airedale, West Yorkshire, whose lives have been affected by sexual violence/abuse by the provision of therapeutic, advice and advocacy services and to raise awareness of the issues surrounding such violence/abuse.
MOSAIC II is an independently funded registered charity. Most of our capital and revenue is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and NHS 3CCG's. We endeavour to offer our clients the service they require from MOSAIC II with the belief that the clients are the experts on their situation.
We are delighted to announce our Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Linda Colclough was awarded an MBE in the New Year's Honours List on 30th December 2017 for services to Victims of Sexual Abuse in West Yorkshire.
In a statement Linda quotes: I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their good wishes. I am extremely humbled, honoured and proud to have received an MBE in the New Year's Honours List. I don't feel I achieved this alone I have a very supportive team who always go that extra mile and work extremely hard ensuring all the clients feel comfortable and welcomed when accessing support at Mosaic.
A special thank you to Natasha for being by my side for the past 18 years through thick and thin, Marie for her endless patience and the Board of Trustees for their continued support and guidance.
A huge thank you also to all of the staff, sessional workers and volunteers for their ongoing dedication and commitment to the work we undertake at Mosaic.
My dream is for Mosaic to continue to deliver much needed support to families whose lives have been affected by sexual abuse for many years to come.
